The Need is the Grace
In a ball of rage and exhaustion, I slam the bathroom door and lock it behind me, and escape into my bedroom on the other side of the house, crumpling into a heap on the floor. I know I should be sorry for my anger towards my children, but I’m not. Didn’t they bring this out in me? Wasn’t I trying my best, after all? And I still lost my temper. And I don’t really care.
